Grace Music Institute (GMI) is a school for music and creative arts. It is the center of musical, creative and spiritual activities of Evergreen. 

We offer a path of artistic, creative, and spiritual development through arts, music, and play. We aim to raise awareness of the innate artistry and creativity in individuals as a way to realize divine gifts that we all share. Music is a visceral, exciting activity that helps bring all nations together in a joyful co-creative process and allows individuals to thrive in the process of realization of their highest creative potentials and artistic aspirations as they join together in interactive activities and musical performances. 

All GMI students are immersed in a vibrant artistic community powered by love. We promote the spirit of creative collaboration while honoring the individual dignity and free will of our students. GMI faculty members are accomplished artists and teachers, passionate in bringing the best in every individual, helping them to grow in their vision, thrive in developing and sharing their talents through musical and artistic engagements.

Our Programs

We offer a wide range of programs designed to suit all ages and skill levels. Music lessons include piano, voice violin, erhu, guzheng, harp, and double bass.

  • Group classes: Collaborative learning experiences for various settings and skill levels: children choir Evergreen Voices, Drum Circle, Music Club

FACULTY MEMBERS

Our faculty consists of accomplished artists, teachers , composers, songwriters and producers whose calling is to empower individuals through music and creative arts, and therefore to contribute to a renewal and positive transformation within the educational systems.

They engage in projects and collaborative activities with students in groups and individually. While honoring unique talents and qualities of each individual, our mentors are aiming to build a sense of belonging to a larger human community, driven by purpose to serve the highest good of all, thus setting up the momentum for the future development of loving and thriving humanity.

STUDENTS

Our students are curious and artistically inclined individuals, young artists, willing to grow in their creative vision, skills and purpose. The emphasis of the institute is the creative and spiritual realization and development of the highest potentials in each individual through music and arts.

INTERACTION

We aim to create a space where kids and adults learn and play together and engage in projects based on fun, discovery, excitement, innovation and co-creativity. Here at Grace music institute we welcome new ideas and diversity of perspectives, inclusion and integration of diverse cultural aspects, learning music, literature, and arts together through joyful and playful Interaction.

Besides individual musical and artistic instruction, GMI offers group activities, such as Music Ball, Drum Circle, deep listening and other classes that are based on a sense of community and communion, friendship and leadership, while honoring the individual dignity, learning the mastery and developing new ideas.

Grace Music Institute is a premier music education institution offering a variety of programs and courses in music theory, performance, and production. We cater to students of all ages and skill levels. Our non-competitive learning environment is based on principles of play, creativity, and collaboration, where each individual voice is given attention and recognized as an equally important and powerful part of the cosmic symphony of Creation.

We offer courses in piano, guitar, violin, voice, music theory, music production, and more. We have both beginner and advanced classes to suit different skill levels.

Our instructors are highly qualified professionals with extensive experience in music education and performance. Many of them hold advanced degrees in music and have performed or recorded professionally.

Yes, we offer both in-person and online classes to accommodate different learning preferences and schedules.

The enrollment process involves signing up for a trial lesson, writing a short paragraph about your musical and creative journey and inspiration, having a short trial lesson/audition, processing payment, and signing an enrollment agreement form.

Yes, we offer financial aid and scholarships to eligible students. Scholarships are available to students who demonstrate significant interest in music and singing, are creatively inclined, and are willing to develop these abilities in a collaborative environment. Auditions for scholarships will be scheduled after receiving recommendation letters from both parents and a school teacher, describing the student’s musical abilities, enthusiasm in learning, creative vision, and/or contribution to the community.

Course durations vary. We offer short-term workshops, semester-long courses, and year-long programs. Specific details can be found in the course descriptions on our website.

Yes, we offer trial lessons for prospective students to experience our teaching methods and environment before committing to a course. Click this link to sign up for a trial lesson.

Yes, we host regular performances and recitals every September, December, and May to give our students the opportunity to showcase their skills and progress.

Our cancellation and refund policy is detailed on our website. Generally, refunds are available up to a certain date before the start of the course, and classes missed due to institute cancellations will be rescheduled. We allow 2 make-up sessions per semester (Fall, Summer, Spring) with 24-hour notice.

We offer both group classes and individual lessons to cater to different learning preferences and budgets. Group classes include Evergreen Voices, Drum Circle, and Music Club. Individual lessons are available in 30, 45, and 60-minute sessions on a weekly or twice-a-week basis.

We welcome students of all ages. We have specific programs tailored for children, teens, and adults.

Required materials and instruments vary by course. A list of necessary items will be provided upon enrollment. We also offer instrument rentals for students who do not have their own.
